About the Role
  • You will research, analyze, interpret and document tax laws and regulations applicable to ONESOURCE tax software.
  • Monitor tax statutes, regulations, legislative activity, court decisions and publications to stay informed of changes in laws and regulations.
  • Correspond with global and local tax authorities.
  • Research and respond to client inquiries.
  • Provide recommendations on complex tax and legal issues.
  • Communicate complicated tax/legal issues in an understandable manner to non-tax/legal professionals.
  • Test all tax content changes made in the database for quality assurance.
  • Provide guidance to other departments regarding tax processes.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of all applicable tax/legal information in the content database, which includes entering content changes into all systems and applications.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Law/Finance/Tax.
  • A detail-oriented approach.
  • A strong interest in tax (specifically VAT) and the desire to grow your career in a tax research setting.
  • Ability to utilize online research tools and work to specific deadlines.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write white papers or technical tax documents.
  • Comfortable using the Microsoft Office Package (e.g. Microsoft Excel & Word) and open to learning new technologies.
  • The ability to confidently communicate in English.
