Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement worldwide network projects in the security environment, ensuring seamless planning, management, and execution.
  • Provide, operate, and further develop our global network security platform, focusing on network segmentation for enhanced security.
  • Create high-level, low-level, and operational concepts, as well as execute complex failure analyses to ensure business continuity.
  • Offer technical consulting and global support to administrators and specialist departments, driving excellence in network security.
  • Collaborate in budget planning and monitoring, controlling service providers to optimize resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completed studies in (business) informatics or equivalent qualifications with practical knowledge and experience.
  • High level of competence and 5+ years of professional experience in network security, firewall, IPS/IDS, and DMZ areas.
  • Proven expertise in network technologies (e.g., switching, routing) and network segmentation (e.g., security zones, network access control).
  • Experience working with leading network, security, and cloud vendors like Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, or Palo Alto.
  • Basic commercial knowledge of ordering processes, service accounting, and budget planning.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Perseverance with a quality-oriented approach and ability to work abstractly.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, customer orientation, and experience in change processes.
