Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex supplier selection activities and managing formal strategic sourcing and RFx processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct supplier identification, due diligence activities, and manage supplier life-cycle management.
  2. Manage stakeholder engagement and communication for sourcing events.
  3. Conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers.
  4. Collaborate with senior sourcing specialists and category managers to execute sourcing initiatives.
  5. Present decision recommendations to the decision board.
  6. Champion the use of eSourcing tools and leverage eAuctions where appropriate.
  7. Resolve quality, supply, or other issues in collaboration with local and regional stakeholders.
  8. Perform proposal analysis, including price analyses and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Requirements

  • Purchasing experience in an international context.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in tactical Procurement.
  • Good knowledge of German and English.
  • Knowledge of eSourcing tools and industry-specific rules and regulations in the European Union is a plus.
