About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth in the e-commerce sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and acquiring new small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses as merchants.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to generate new leads through market research, industry events, and partnerships.
  • Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential merchants, clearly communicating the company's value proposition.
  • Handling pricing negotiations, contract discussions, and finalizing agreements with new merchants to meet sales goals.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as marketing, product, and operations, to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new merchants.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in direct B2B sales (pure hunting, not account management).
  • Understanding of the SMB landscape, including industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ability to create a constructive tension across the sales, taking advantage of data analytics to create valuable insights to inspire merchants.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
