At Infotree Global Solutions, we're seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing new regulatory reporting software that supports global regulatory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new regulatory reporting software using Java 17/Spring/Kafka/Singlestore technology stack
  • Develop a horizontally scalable microservice system to ensure efficient data processing
  • Solve challenging big data problems while ensuring data correctness and processing millions of rows daily
  • Collaborate with end users to understand business needs and suggest improvements to existing tools and processes
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of financial instruments across multiple asset classes

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a mindset of ownership
  • Strong programming skills in Java, at least 5 years of coding experience
  • Good understanding of microservices and experience building horizontally scalable systems
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and query optimization
  • Experience in supporting production environments and handling production issues
  • Experience in test-driven development
  • Fast learner with the ability to pick up existing applications
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance and resiliency
  • Focus on software quality and the ability to write clean code

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or a strong interest in investment banking or financial products
  • Experience being a technical owner and performing code reviews
  • Experience with near real-time transactional systems like Kafka
  • Experience with Single store
  • Experience with Scala
  • Experience with big data concepts
