About the Role

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join our team at HSBC Service Delivery. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of software delivery to users, collaborating with team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Implement assigned modules/tasks and provide technical solutions/designs to the team.
  • Liaise with product owners and SMEs for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria, and testing scope.
  • Work closely with the architecture team to deliver solutions that address business needs and timelines.
  • Provide guidance to DevOps engineers on engineering approaches to implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java/Scala and React.
  • Well-versed in API integration, Micro Services architecture, and development.
  • Familiarity with databases (relational, non-relational) and ideally NoSQL MongoDB.
  • Tooling experience with Grafana, Jenkins, Git, Stash, Sonar, Checkmarx, Kenna, Clouseau, RocketLauncher, and NexusIQ.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for global environments.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies and business domains.
  • Experience in supporting existing infrastructure and platforms, resolving issues, and employing best practices from a production support perspective.
