Treasury Specialist Role

The Treasury Specialist is a crucial member of our team, responsible for managing our company's cash flow, payments, and revenue. This role involves monitoring and reporting payment issues, collaborating with banks, and facilitating daily operations with international teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor daily cash position for domestic and international bank accounts and oversee transactions to ensure liquidity.
  2. Initiate and manage outgoing vendor and intercompany payments as needed.
  3. Prepare foreign exchange trades for foreign currency account funding and vendor payments, collaborating with FX traders to determine suitable rates.
  4. Work closely with accounts payable, corporate accounting, and supply chain regarding vendor payment returns.
  5. Process queries, issues, and open items from the business in a timely and service-oriented manner.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with banks in our bank group.
  7. Assist with bank account openings, closures, signatory maintenance, and periodic bank KYC requests.
  8. Support other Treasury Specialists and Sr. Treasury Analysts with Kyriba workstation maintenance.
  9. Actively monitor the treasury shared inbox and respond promptly.
  10. Provide supporting information and documentation to internal and external audit teams, including SOX reporting and compliance.
  11. Deliver service in line with agreed SOPs, controls, practices, policies, and procedures.
  12. Identify, contribute to, and drive business improvement initiatives and optimize current practices, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
  1. 1-2 years of treasury experience.
  2. Knowledge of cash management principles and banking processes (preferred).
  3. Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  4. Full professional proficiency in written and oral English required.
  5. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially MS Excel.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. High attention to detail.
  8. Ability to plan and prioritize with a flexible and positive mindset.
  9. Ability to adapt and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Meet daily challenges through a reflective and solution-oriented approach.
  11. Good customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  12. Act proactively to improve own work and team work.
  13. Good at working independently and staying focused.
  14. Able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
  15. International mindset.
  16. Familiarity with IFS ERP system, Kyriba TMS workstation, and/or banking portals/bank online systems a plus.
