Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling the commercial performance of Long Term Maintenance Contracts for Offshore Wind Farms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the commercial performance of Long Term Maintenance Contracts for Offshore Wind Farms.
  • Ensure that financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimize the project gross profit, cash flow, and assets and financing instruments.
  • Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP, and ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Guidelines and local GAAP requirements.
  • Ensure all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
  • Compile annual budgets and regular financial forecasts and deliver upon them.
  • Actively communicate with customer's commercial representatives and manage solving of commercial issues.
  • Together with the Project Manager, proactively set up a contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager.
  • Support the Project Manager in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies, and response activities, taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Support Project Manager to select and involve partners/subcontractors.
  • Represent the project in the relevant decision boards internally and externally.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor or master's degree or a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with multiple years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in a commercial function, ideally in the area of commercial project management. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, together with SAP, are required. The ability to work independently and organized while also bringing great communication skills within the team is essential. A detail-oriented and hands-on mindset with a desire to work proactively is also necessary. An analytical mindset and fluency in English are required.
