We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Zurich Insurance Group. As a key member of our global shared service platform, you will provide technical support to users of computers, software and hardware running the Windows operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and expanded first and second level help desk support for IT incidents, problems and service requests.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 11 or newer, Microsoft Office products and any other authorized desktop applications in line with Zurich standards.
  • Support laptop and printer, telephony and software issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot business applications and computers remotely.
  • Manage tickets via SNOW tool including escalations.
  • Resolve problems escalated from within the Help Desk local function and Desktop Support area providing resolution knowledge and feedback to less experienced staff.
  • Develop and implement continuous service improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing/gathering initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an IT supporter (multicultural environment experience would be an asset).
  • Technical knowledge in hardware area (laptop) is a must.
  • Familiar with administration of some of the following products: MS Office, Office365, Outlook, Microsoft Intune, Azure, Windows 11 and other MS-based systems (SAP would be an asset).
  • Areas of network (basic switching, routing, VPN) and Server systems, storage, security/patching and application deployment would be an asset.
  • Communicative level of English skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Proactive approach.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently and communicate effectively.
  • Availability for late shift assignment (11:00-19:00 & 14:30-22:00).
  • Readiness for a 12-month contract with prospect for permanent employment.
