Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our team and take our projects to the next level. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, implement innovative solutions, and collaborate with industry leaders.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Cloud Data Architect to design and build complex data solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability in the cloud. As part of our global team, you'll participate in international projects and have a significant impact on the digital transformation of organizations.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will lead architectural discussions and facilitate strategic design decisions. You'll work with global experts and industry leaders to deliver top-tier solutions using the latest technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build complex data solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability in the cloud.
  • Lead architectural discussions and facilitate strategic design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, specialists, and partners globally to implement cutting-edge solutions.
  • Develop reliable solution plans, including cost estimations and delivery strategies in cooperation with business and technical teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in building complex data solutions.
  • 3+ years in an Architect role, including hands-on experience designing cloud-based architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure or AWS cloud products and services.
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures such as data fabric, data mesh, and data vault.
  • Expertise with MPP solutions like Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, or Redshift.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead design discussions and explain architectural decisions.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Fluent in English (C1 level), with German as an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with BI/ETL/Big Data technologies.
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and data lakes.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation techniques.
