Senior Supply Chain Leader

Job OverviewOur Purchasing Teams are responsible for procuring materials, components, equipment, and services while gathering quotations, examining bids, and awarding contracts. They perform cost analysis and volume planning for commodities, evaluate vendor reliability, and develop new supply sources where required. Additionally, they coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels and monitor costs, schedules, and scopes of assigned subcontracts to ensure the best quality at the best value.
Your Responsibilities- Observe and coach your team members in their work activities, providing immediate feedback through coaching discipline and following up to ensure appropriate actions are taken by the team.
- Recruit new talent and develop a strong talent bench that will embrace the vision and transform the organization.
- Champion transformation initiatives and positively drive change initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement mindset.
- Grow and nurture your team by providing inclusion and engagement opportunities, as well as developing them for their future careers.
- Manage purchase orders, confirmations, and follow-ups through corresponding payments, track milestones, and problem-solve with suppliers and internal functions. Manage purchase order backlog to ensure plant production schedules, push out, pull-in, and cancellation requests management, escalate management (for level 1), follow up on late orders, ensure purchase order alignment (e.g., MOQ/PPQ alignment, short ship, late delivery, early shipment, price discrepancies), and maintain accurate supplier contact details.
- Ensure accuracy of Info Record and Source List data in alignment with MRP parameters, including MOQ, Price, and LT.
- Be the first line of communication with suppliers, establish regular communication cadence, and escalate suppliers imposing significant risk to business (e.g., line downs, high financial impact, general compliance with TE requirements) to the next internal level.
- Closely cooperate with Planners and SQE Team on material risks and opportunities.
