Your Role

Koch Global Services is seeking a highly skilled Statutory and Tax Reporting Specialist to join our team in Katowice. This position is responsible for various critical tasks, including:

  • Preparing annual financial statements according to local GAAP in various jurisdictions.
  • Interpreting local accounting rules, IFRS, and US GAAP to identify differences and issue accounting guidelines.
  • Preparing and timely filing of VAT and Intrastat returns in various jurisdictions.
  • Cooperating with external statutory auditors.

The Leveraged Capability team is part of Koch Business Solutions, a company providing services for multiple Koch group entities across Europe. Our scope of services focuses on compliance work and goes beyond typical accounting processes, which are delivered by other departments.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare annual financial statements according to local GAAP in various jurisdictions in the EMEA region.
  • Cooperate with external statutory auditors.
  • Prepare and submit statistical and governmental returns.
  • Prepare data for VAT and Intrastat returns in various tax jurisdictions.
  • Calculate corporate income tax provision and provide data for corporate income tax return to a third-party provider.
  • Participate in complex accounting projects requiring proper interpretation and application of local accounting principles.

Who You Are

  • Previous direct involvement in the preparation process of annual financial statements and/or group reporting packages.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and standards, such as US GAAP, IFRS, and/or other local GAAP.
  • Understanding of basic VAT reporting regulations within and outside the European Union.
  • General knowledge of corporate income tax expense calculation.
  • Fluency in English.
