Main Objectives:

  • Identify and execute effective sales strategies to promote Samskip services in southern Poland
  • Nurture long-term customer relationships and maintain a consistent level of sales within your assigned territory
  • Achieve set sales targets and stay informed about emerging market trends
  • Partner with the operations team and suppliers to refine and enhance service offerings
  • Closely collaborate with the Customer Service Department in Gdansk to guarantee superior service standards
  • Communicate new products and improved services to clients
  • Regularly schedule meetings with customers and undertake occasional travel to Gdansk or our headquarters in the Netherlands

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Expertise in sales processes
  • Understanding of the transport industry and familiarity with container shipping practices (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able negotiator
  • Organizational skills and independence
  • Outstanding English language proficiency (speaking and writing)
  • Minimum two years of experience in sales
  • Minimum two years of experience in the shipping and logistics sector (road FTL or container/intermodal – preferred)
