About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at RWE Renewables Poland Sp. z o.o. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust compliance strategies in alignment with the global compliance community, working closely with the OPEA Compliance team.
  • Assess compliance-relevant topics and issues of high complexity, developing solutions and recommendations for action for management and the operational business.
  • Lead and participate in large multidisciplinary national and international projects, assessing counterparty compliance risks and independently managing interdisciplinary interfaces.
  • Provide holistic and optimized operational advice, setting standards in the process, and develop and implement various types of training, documentation, and processes.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of law, economics, social sciences, or a comparable qualification, with several years of professional experience in a law firm or consultancy, or in the legal or compliance department of a company, ideally in the energy industry.
  • Integrity and strong ethics and values, with the ability to think outside the box, enjoy creative processes, and familiarize yourself with topics quickly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an international and interdisciplinary team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to consult stakeholders on an equal footing.
  • Fluent in Polish and English (oral and written), with other languages (such as German and/or other European languages) being an advantage.
