Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at Danske Bank. As a key member of our Fraud, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and Tax Evasion (TE) Advisory and Assurance team, you will play a vital role in building and shaping our team's expertise in ABC and TE risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ABC and TE risks and controls, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead projects to increase the maturity of risk management frameworks for ABC and TE risks, working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Support the interpretation and application of Financial Crime Compliance Policies, Instructions, and Procedures, ensuring alignment with internal regulations and external regulatory developments.
  • Provide input to instructions owned by the team, ensuring effective risk management and compliance.
  • Execute group Financial Crime Compliance oversight activities, including planning, reporting, and documenting assurance reviews.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience working with ABC and TE risks and controls, preferably in a Financial Crime function.
  • Good understanding of the regulatory risk environment applicable to Danske Bank in ABC and TE, with a focus on VAT Fraud.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex matters and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
