Job Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Managing Consultant with multiple years of experience to join an environmental team based in Warsaw office.

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in environmental projects, who can support our growing office and contribute to innovative and high-quality environmental solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in domestic and foreign environmental due diligence assessment projects (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments) and site investigations (Phase II) and remediation projects.
  • Become an effective and trustful project team member.
  • Active cooperation with the entire team in Poland and other Ramboll branches around the world.
  • Participation in business trips (domestic and foreign).

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental protection, waste management, earth sciences or in a related field; advanced degree preferred (Master of Science).
  • Experience in environmental due diligence assessment projects (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments) and site investigations (Phase II) and remediation projects.
  • Good understanding of Polish environmental law and regulations and documented practical experience in relations with administrative authorities, regulatory experience related to industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Hands-on experience in MS Office, ArcGIS and graphics programs (e.g. CorelDraw).
  • Fluency in both Polish and English (upper intermediate and above), with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment; additional language will be an advantage (e.g. German).
  • Readiness to work at the Clients' sites - a few days a month – site visits, audits and field work. Driving license category B will be an advantage.
  • Open mind, solution oriented, and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and high responsiveness.
  • Understanding of consulting business methodologies and best practices, resistance to stress.
