As a Senior P2P Specialist, you will support global purchasing and procurement buyer activities at Elanco, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and controls for the P2P function.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Process Support, Governance, Stakeholder Management

  • Supports and facilitates the purchase of materials, equipment and services through requirements clarification, leveraging most desirable buying channels.
  • Adheres to process governance including regular reporting and analysis of key metrics.
  • Supports the Global Sourcing team in supplier identification, analysis, and maintenance.
  • Reviews, analyzes data and suggests preferred suppliers approach for non‐catalog requisitions.
  • Executes the governance process to evaluate and implement localization / customization.
  • Supports internal and external auditors during audits and other data inquiries.
  • Ad-hoc performs supplier performance analysis, spend analysis.

Project Work, Continuous Improvement, Training and documentation

  • Supports the continuous improvement project and mindset across ESC and Business Organizations.
  • Collaborates with FCoE (Finance Center of Excellence, Global Process Owners) and other stakeholders at improving process efficiency and quality.
  • Strong partnerships/integration with other project groups: Procurement, P2P, FCoE.
  • Maintains training materials and delivers end user trainings.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of Procurement and Purchasing functions with minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a SSC/BPO organization.
  • Experience in the Purchase to Pay processes, specifically Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Approved/Preferred Supplier Lists, and Catalogue purchasing.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and Ariba Procurement platform; experience and knowledge of several of the Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracting, Supplier Lifecycle Management and Performance, Procurement and Spend Reporting.
  • Operational awareness of all applicable US SoX & Operational controls for your area and ability to demonstrate a strong compliance oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrates excellence in all interactions with our ESC internal customers & business partners.
  • Acts with core team members, internal customers/business partners, and distribution team members to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for ESC as reliable, effective and efficient business service provider.
