Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

Transformative Leadership Opportunity

BNY Mellon is seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our team in Wrocław, Poland. As a key member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be responsible for providing oversight to multiple small teams or one large team of Accountants, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, and managing relationships with assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to teams on accounting practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and/or IFRS rules.
  • Manage the performance of teams, setting priorities and evaluating the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices.
  • Direct the drafting of financial reports for clients, communicating complex accounting intricacies and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives, driving business growth and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of total work experience, with at least 5 years in management.
  • Big accounting firm experience preferred.
