Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Support Specialist with expertise in the German language to join our team at Air Liquide Polska Sp. z o.o. As an HR Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to employees and partners, leveraging your knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as your excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-point-of-contact support for employees and partners, answering queries on HR-related matters through various channels, including ServiceNow, Live Chat, and Telephony
  • Resolve employee inquiries efficiently, leveraging knowledge base documents and escalating complex issues to relevant subject matter experts
  • Actively follow up on outstanding items and obtain feedback on resolution from employees and partners
  • Assist HR Shared Service Centre users in navigating self-help materials and system functionality
  • Properly escalate enquiries to the next level of support or relevant subject matter experts
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss HR-related matters and process improvements
  • Identify gaps in current knowledge base documentation and suggest improvements to enhance the knowledge base
  • Perform simple transactions in HR systems on behalf of employees as required by the process
  • Generate personal documentation based on system information and available templates
  • Provide simple reporting as requested by customers
  • Update required information in HR systems as raised by employees and the business
  • Gather and review process documentation as required by the business

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people

  • Ability to ask relevant questions to understand and clarify issues, attempt resolution, and escalate problems if unable to resolve
  • Ownership and capability of working independently, taking initiative, and following up on assigned projects
  • Ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner and high sense of commitment and responsibility
  • IT savvy and resourceful in leveraging various tools (knowledge management, document management, HR systems) to obtain required information to resolve queries and issues
  • Experience as an HR administrative assistant, preferably in a shared services environment
  • English and German (minimum Intermediate level) - Mandatory
  • Availability to travel when possible and if necessary
  • ServiceNow and Workday experience
  • Experience in Knowledge Transfer sessions and documenting processes
