Job Summary:

The Finance Billing Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating a team within the Order to Invoice and billing function, ensuring the successful execution of high-value price change processes, and resolving issues related to customer purchase orders and past due accounts receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate high-value price change processes with multiple business areas, driving resolution of issues related to customer purchase orders and past due accounts receivables.
  • Manage the billing process, including manual billing and investigating and validating credit and debit billing adjustments.
  • Responsible for master data creation and connections throughout the manufacturing environment from contract to cash, ensuring both Tenneco and customers meet requirements.
  • Create reports to meet customer needs, combining data from various systems and resolving customer queries around outstanding invoices.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, review old items, and perform netting.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports.
  • Reconcile customers' accounts.
  • Set priorities to achieve best collection results.
  • Participate in process improvements and new initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent managerial experience.
  • Three years of relevant experience in a business environment, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience in managing teams in a shared service center is an asset, as is knowledge of Billing/Accounts Receivables processes.
  • Working knowledge/experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
