As a seasoned leader, you will spearhead our cloud database strategy, driving operational excellence in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. This pivotal role demands an adaptive leader proficient in cloud and database administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute our cloud database strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of cloud-based database systems to assure performance, security, and availability.
  • Collaborate with software development and IT teams to integrate and support database solutions within cloud environments.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance database performance and uptime.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and implement disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data.
  • Manage vendor relationships to procure and deploy cloud services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  • Drive continuous innovation in cloud technologies, advocating for solutions that improve efficiency and reduce overhead.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in cloud solutions preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in database administration with a focus on cloud technologies, demonstrating increasing responsibility.
  • 5+ years in supervisory and/or strategic leadership
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and hands-on experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, etc.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing cloud migration strategies.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Fluency in English; Polish language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per year, based on experience and skills.
  • Opportunity to work remotely from Poland or at our Warsaw office, with flexible working arrangements.
