About the Role

The Consolidation and Financial Reporting Lead is a crucial position within Dentons' Europe Finance Team. This role oversees the consolidation processes, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise team tasks to ensure timely completion of group entity submissions.
  • Perform group consolidation and prepare financial statements within agreed deadlines.
  • Oversee the submission of consolidated packages from all group entities.
  • Verify and control reporting delivered by various offices.
  • Liaise with local finance managers in particular offices.
  • Educate financial managers on reporting tools, guidelines, and annual changes.
  • Communicate and cooperate with external auditors.
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP adopted by the group (currently UK GAAP).
  • Develop and update consolidation guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years working experience at a BIG 4 or similar firm.
  • Experience with consolidation processes and working in a consolidation team.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take responsibility for getting things done.
  • Experience working with external financial auditors.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in another European language an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
