At State Street Corporation, we are the industry leader in investment management, research & trading and servicing. We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Cyber Security Risk Specialist to join our Risk organization.

The Enterprise Technology Risk Management team at State Street is responsible for identifying, analyzing, measuring, reporting and managing risk at both the corporate-level and in partnership with the business units in support of their activities.

In this role, you will act as a trusted and influential liaison between our Cyber Risk team and State Street's Global Cyber Security (GCS) business and First Line of Defense (FLoD) control function. You will focus on matters relating to Platform Hardening risk posture, benchmarked against applicable laws, regulations, standards and codes of conduct, and best practices.

The position is based in Poland.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and ensure regulatory findings and remediation plans address associated underlying issues and validate closure documentation.
  • Analyze Platform Hardening risks arising from control inefficiencies or lack thereof.
  • Provide valuable input by supporting the implementation of effective technology risk management around Platform Hardening by developing and establishing continuous risk Identification, measurement, management and reporting.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and SMEs to ensure regulatory findings are managed from issuance until closure.
Job Qualifications
  • Fundamental understanding of risk management tools (Material Risk Identification, Risk and Control Self Assessments, Key Risk Indicator Methodology and Loss Event data).
  • Good understanding of IT, Cyber Security and Platform Hardening, and their respective impact on the organization's risk profile.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into risk terms that businesses can understand.
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, processes and emerging security technologies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the financial, consulting or technology industries.
  • Undergraduate or higher degree in technology preferred.
  • Prefer 3+ years of work experience in IT infrastructure, Application Security or Risk.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This estimate is based on the national average salary for a similar position in the United States and takes into account the location and cost of living in Krakow, Poland.
