Project:

We're looking for an experienced CMDB Solution Consultant to fill a crucial role in our team. The CMDB Solution Consultant will play a key part in scoping, gathering requirements, evaluating existing solutions, and planning the implementation of our CMDB solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect.
  • Guide the team through the key areas: scope alignment, requirement gathering, AS-IS evaluation, and supplier selection.
  • Facilitate up to ten virtual meetings with project stakeholders to discuss and align the scope of our CMDB solution investigation.
  • Act as an independent advisor, evaluating the pros and cons of including or excluding scope elements.
  • Collect functional and non-functional requirements based on prior experience and internal workshops.
  • Prioritize requirements into high, medium, and low categories through interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Investigate the technical capabilities of existing solutions (e.g., "Staging DB" and "4me").
  • Identify gaps between existing solutions and the requirements list.
  • Collaborate on the execution plan for implementing the CMDB solution.
