Job Description

This is a hybrid role with two office days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and provide direct procurement activities according to organization needs
  • Develop strategies for direct procurement that align with organizational goals and sales targets
  • Be a strategic partner to other chapters' leads and senior management
  • Provide expertise and support in procurement-related matters
  • Manage direct procurement processes following group organization standards and local regulations
  • Manage direct suppliers based on evaluation activities and provide regular assessments to improve quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Implement improvement plans based on supplier performance assessments
  • Build awareness and adherence to risk/regulatory/quality compliance requirements
  • Provide a full scope of direct procurement activities in bidding processes, ensuring on-time delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality regulations
  • Lead negotiations and end-to-end contract management
  • Ensure global KPI throughout the year focusing on target savings, payment terms, and purchase order creation
  • Owner of local policy for direct procurement processes

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in procurement area with a proven track record
  • Strategic thinking approach and proven track record of successful negotiations
  • Knowledgeable in procurement processes with a focus on process improvement
  • Proactive and self-driven with a high commitment to creating a Direct Procurement team
  • Understand priorities related to the role short, mid, and long term
  • Holistic view approach and understanding of the organization as a whole
  • Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation
  • SUCCESSFUL FACILITATION OF CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS IN AN INTERNATIONAL MATRIX ENVIRONMENT
  • Analytical skills, the capability of arriving at data-driven conclusions
  • Constructive attitude towards changes and challenges
