About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team and support the implementation of our financial steering approach. As a Controller, you will be responsible for understanding management's steering philosophy, particularly from Corporate Controlling and Top Management. You will also derive and align requirements with business stakeholders and related Finance Transformation Project modules.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement future steering logic and roadmap, encompassing products for financial steering of Lufthansa Group.
- Understand interfaces and dependencies between controlling and accounting (processes and data) and their implications for solution design and implementation.
- Manage implementation of interim solutions for defined steering logic within the current finance IT environment and initiate full scope realization with FTP.
- Perform other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors.
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Several years of experience in a Controlling Line Function or Consulting role, preferably with heavy involvement in discussions with Top Management.
- Strong understanding of controlling/financial steering best practices.
- General understanding of internal & external accounting.
- Ability to quickly build credibility and professionally interact with Top Management.
- Ability to work within an agile, self-organized (project) environment.
- Good understanding of finance analytics and data-visualization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in a multi-cultural and multi-location environment.
- Very good command of English required. German/other languages are a plus.
