Job Title: Controller - Financial Steering Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller - Financial Steering Expert to join our team at Lufthansa Group Business Services Sp. z o.o. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding management's steering philosophy, especially from Corporate Controlling and Top Management. They will derive and align requirements with business stakeholders and related Finance Transformation Project modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining future steering logic and roadmap, encompassing products for financial steering of Lufthansa Group, including Group Steering Approach, Top KPIs, Cashflow reporting and forecasting concept, Managerial Airline P&L.
  • Understanding interfaces and dependencies between controlling and accounting (processes and data) and their implications for solution design and implementation.
  • Managing implementation of interim solutions for defined steering logic within current finance IT environment and initiate full scope realization with FTP.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Several years of experience in a Controlling Line Function or Consulting role, preferably heavily involved in discussions with Top Management.
  • Strong understanding of controlling/financial steering best practices.
  • General understanding of internal & external accounting.
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and professionally interact with Top Management.
  • Ability to work within an agile, self-organized (project) environment.
  • Good understanding of finance analytics and data-visualization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in a multi-cultural and multi-location environment.
  • Very good command of English required. German/other languages are a plus.
