Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop highly functional, easy-to-navigate, and visually appealing player-focused UI solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs.
  2. Craft an intuitive visual language that balances aesthetics and functionality, ensuring seamless integration with gameplay mechanics and enhancing the overall player experience.
  3. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, comprising UX designers, game designers, and developers, to ensure UI design aligns with gameplay objectives and technical feasibility.
  4. Pursue innovative interaction design strategies to drive the evolution of our games' user interfaces.
  5. Work closely with engineering teams to oversee the implementation of UI designs, troubleshoot any integration challenges, and guarantee technical readiness.
  6. Maintain detailed design documentation and style guides to facilitate clear communication across the development team.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in game UI design.
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop & Illustrator, or similar, for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, UI implementation, blueprints, and materials.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective presentation of ideas, leadership of discussions, and constructive management of feedback.
  • Knowledge of the Cyberpunk genre, appreciation for thematic elements, and ability to infuse these into UI work.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality, combined with a willingness to learn new tools and skills.
  • Ability to write UI logic using a scripting language and proficiency in using 3D software like Cinema 4d, Blender, or 3DS Max.
