Data Analyst Lead for Pharmaceutical Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Lead to join our team at Square One Resources Sp. z o.o.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data requirement gathering and onboarding, as well as a strong background in SAP BW 7.x and HANA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data-related requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs and document detailed specifications for technical teams.
  • Oversee data onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration and accurate data migration from various sources.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP BW, Snowflake, or AWS solutions that enhance data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Leverage supply chain management knowledge to ensure data solutions are optimized for efficient supply chain operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business departments, managing expectations and ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Proven track record in data requirement gathering and data onboarding.
  • Extensive experience in the supply chain sector, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in SAP BW 7.x (Data Warehousing, ETL, Analysis & Reporting in BEx/Web, Integrated Planning) for at least 4 years full-time;
  • At least 3 years experience with the development in BW 7.x on HANA and about 1-year experience on BW/4HANA: info provider types, data modeling options, Real-Time Reporting approach, ODP Extraction, Data Federation, LSA++;
  • Good understanding and minimum one completed project experience with S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics;
  • Knowledge of BW Query (BeX or Query Designer in HANA Studio);
  • Experience in Business Objects (Information Designer, Webi, Lumira);
  • High-level knowledge of ERP processes: Finance / Controlling / Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain Mgmt., FI/CO extractors, SD/SCM and Business Content;
  • SAP BW on HANA related ABAP and SQL programming skills (user-exists, routines);
  • Proven track record of IT projects where working in a key technology role (i.e. subject matter expert, solution architect, tech lead);
  • Basic knowledge of SAP Basis environment;
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English is a must as well as the will to work in the multicultural, international virtual project team;
  • Pro-active and able to work independently;
  • Self-reliance in collecting and fulfilling business partners' requirements as well as keeping up direct communication
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, experience in working with both Live and Import Data Connection;
  • Knowledge of Predictive Algorithms and Integrators like APL, PAL, PAI - JavaScript / UI5 programming skills
  • R or Python programming skills
  • Fiori analytical applications development (i.e. Analytical List Page )
