Overview

PepsiCo is seeking a Supply Chain Dare to Do More Graduate to join the company for a 2-year DTDM program. The Dare to Do More (DTDM) program is a two-year development path for high-calibre individuals to gain experience working across two to three supply chain disciplines. This is a high-profile appointment giving the opportunity to add value, firstly in the Third Party Manufacturing (3PM) team before joining Central Technical Services (CTS) for the next placement(s). At the end of the program, the incumbent will be able to further their career within PepsiCo and have developed key skills across different supply chain disciplines.

The initial placement (8 to 12 months):

Third Party Manufacturing Insights Co-ordinator

There is a need for robust 3PM Insights to support the function's strategy and ambition to be an exceptional supply chain partner, building innovative and sustainable external manufacturing relationships to fuel PepsiCo growth.

  • Provide insights to support the 3PM commercial managers with their supplier strategies.
  • A varied scope that includes industry and supplier capabilities research, financial health investigations, assessing both internal and external information sources.
  • Supplier risk management and Business Continuity Planning process ownership.
  • Own the processes to best manage insights information.
  • 3PM Supplier engagement process support.

Note: After completing valued time in 3PM, the next placement will be in Central Technical Services (scope and detail will be shared separately).

Responsibilities
  • Own the processes for capturing broader supplier and industry capabilities: Track and maintain the capabilities of all current suppliers. Take broader insights from the industry to capture capabilities/key details for suppliers not currently used by Pepsi. Ensure that common naming conventions are applied for all reports. Support the 3PM commercial leads with ad-hoc industry research required to respond to commercial business requirements. Provide project insights support for initiatives that involve new co-mans and/or capabilities. Research and maintain the list of industry events across Europe as potential sources of learning (ie trade shows, events, seminars) and co-ordinate attendance across the 3PM team.
  • Gather external and internal information for researching market and consumer trends to aid 3PM commercial insights.
  • Own the process for supplier financial health checks to enable effective annual risk assessments with clear and appropriate courses of action.
  • Own the Business Continuity Planning process for 3PM suppliers to ensure that risks and contingencies are understood across all categories.
  • Support the 3PM Supplier engagement lead to analyse and refresh the supplier segmentation model annually and provide supplier productivity reporting/analysis support.
  • Provide process improvement support for the 3PM function as required.
Qualifications
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong interest in Supply Chain.
  • System, reporting, and Microsoft Office 365 skill set to support document management and control.
  • A self-learning ethic to quickly learn new processes and challenge ways of working to continually add value to the organisation.
  • Tenacious with the ability to influence others outside of direct control.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Good interpersonal skills (& English) to build relationships with a variety of Europe and Local colleagues (at all levels including senior).
