Enterprise SAP Basis Support Specialist

The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems. This includes installing, managing, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP systems and databases in accordance with defined SLAs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis core support, including transport management, patching, enhancement packages, and version upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SAP system architectures to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of SAP system configurations and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT Operations team members to design and implement controls for new technologies, systems, and their supporting infrastructure to ensure systems are available and recoverable in accordance with service level agreements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP systems and databases.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis core support, including transport management, patching, enhancement packages, and version upgrades.
- 2+ years of experience in SAP HANA database maintenance, performance tuning, upgrading, and administering.
- Experience in implementing and migrating large-scale SAP enterprise-wide applications and databases to new platforms and versions.
- Ability in project planning and execution.
