The Accounts Payable Accountant plays a crucial role in accurately executing various services related to the Accounts Payable function such as system administration, reconciliations, and audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable accounts to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Ensure proper and timely follow-up and/or investigation on open items to avoid aging
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve open and/or aged items in Accounts Payable related accounts
  • Prepare proper documentation for Accounts Payable related accounts
  • Identify and present solutions for continuous process improvement, including root cause analysis and recommendations
  • Analyze and run Accounts Payable related metrics to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA/CMA)
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Bosnian language - at least B2 level
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Experience working in Shared Service Centers/Business Service Centers
  • Ability to solve problems and propose improvements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Disciplined and well-organized, able to meet deadlines
