Job Description

As a key member of the Global Defense Engineering team at HSBC Service Delivery, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Identify and drive opportunities to enhance our security posture by leveraging expertise in current control and technology environments.
  • Ensure high-quality work and timely delivery by taking ownership of tasks, reviewing them against quality standards, and striving for zero quality errors.
  • Support more junior team members in achieving quality benchmarks by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the team to share best practices and provide leadership and guidance.

**What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in information security, with a focus on cryptographic services.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cryptography solutions in a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and protocols.
  • Experience with cloud-based cryptography solutions and integration with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
