Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of storytelling principles and experience in directing and/or acting. A strong portfolio showcasing skills in cinematography, editing, and visual effects is essential.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Create engaging scenes with excellent pacing, acting, cinematography, editing, and timing.
  • Collaborate with designers, other departments, and leads to improve visual storytelling and establish continuity with gameplay.
  • Set up actor staging and cameras.
  • Complete tasks on time with high quality.
  • Maintain pipelines and technical requirements.
Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of storytelling principles and how to use visual means to create coherent and memorable scenes and sequences.
  • Perfect understanding of acting, including posing and timing.
  • Great knowledge of cinematography and editing.
  • Experience directing and/or acting.
  • Experience working with screenplays.
  • Minimum 5 years of AAA game development experience, preferably on long-form projects from inception to completion.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Experience using game engines: Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDkit, etc.
  • Technical problem-solving.
  • Quick to adapt to company proprietary software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
