Role Summary:

The C&C GPO Product Owner - Controls will be responsible for managing financial processes and improving the control environment within the Close & Control organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving financial projects from the Close & Control controls area to successful completion
  • Managing project timelines and ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Preparing and presenting regular project status updates to senior leadership
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements throughout all projects
  • Maintaining accurate records and consolidating information from GSK hubs
  • Reviewing financial data to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinating project governance meetings and obtaining sign-off on project phases
  • Improving controls within the Internal Controls Framework (ICFW)
  • Ensuring adherence to GSK's internal policies
  • Providing requested evidence to internal and external auditors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience in Financial Reporting/Audit
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience working in a control environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Knowledge of Close & Control tools
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment
