Role Overview

The Head of Risk Management and Compliance is a senior leadership position that requires a deep understanding of card scheme networks and payment schemes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company maintains its compliance standards and mitigates risks associated with non-compliance.

You will lead a team of investigators who evaluate merchant activities against scheme rules and regulations, provide guidance and support to team members as they navigate complex cases, and coordinate scheme audits and FMP reviews. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to mitigate risks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks associated with non-compliance
  • Lead a team of investigators in evaluating merchant activities vs scheme rules and regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in navigating complex cases
  • Coordinate scheme audits and FMP reviews, tracking completion of findings
  • Ensure collaboration across risk management teams to update and upgrade onboarding and monitoring procedures

Requirements:
