The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory affairs, strategic planning, and team leadership. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust compliance program aligned with Polish regulations and MiCA requirements.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Designing and implementing a comprehensive compliance framework that meets Polish and EU regulatory requirements.
  2. Serving as the primary contact for regulatory bodies such as the KNF, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Monitoring regulatory developments and advising senior management on necessary adjustments to business practices.
  4. Leading the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, reports, and audits as required.
  5. Ensuring compliance with AMLD5/AMLD6, GDPR, and other relevant EU and international regulations.
  6. Overseeing the Transaction Monitoring Department, detecting suspicious activity, investigating, and reporting in a timely manner.
  7. Overseeing the KYC Department, implementing robust onboarding processes, enhanced due diligence measures, and risk-based approaches.
  8. Conducting regular risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.

This role also involves acting as the MLRO if required.
