UI Developer / Frontend Specialist

Are you a skilled UI developer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a UI Developer / Frontend Specialist.

About the Role

As a UI Developer / Frontend Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with our cross-functional team to design and develop high-quality user interfaces for our products. You will work closely with UX designers, product owners, and engineering leads to ensure seamless delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to design and develop user interfaces for multiple products and initiatives.
  • Work iteratively with code, balancing fast-paced delivery while maintaining quality.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including product owners, engineering leads, and design communities.
  • Play an active role in development, focusing on a consistent approach to our component library and consuming applications.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to ensure UI consistency across multiple applications while adhering to best practices in UX/UI.
Requirements
  • Expert experience with HTML, CSS, React, and Node.js.
  • Strong skills in high-fidelity HTML/CSS prototyping.
  • Excellent knowledge of design systems and responsive web development.
  • Strong understanding of component-based development within a shared style guide context.
  • Expertise in accessibility best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of cross-browser concerns and issues.
Additional Skills
  • Experience in banking or retail domains and digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
