Join Saur EUROPE as a Health, Safety and Digital Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Digital Specialist to join our team in Poznan, Poland. As a key member of our corporate health and safety department, you will work closely with our corporate IT department and managers in the Central Europe Balkans (CEB) region to ensure the safety of our employees and the effective implementation of our digital systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital:
    • Develop and implement digital systems to support our health and safety initiatives
    • Collaborate with our corporate IT department to ensure seamless integration of digital systems
    • Design and implement ICT strategies to support our business needs
    • Manage ICT tasks and allocate responsibilities to business partners
    • Prepare and implement ICT policy statements, procedures, and reports
    • Conduct regular checks and audits of systems, networks, and data security
    • Monitor and report on the IT budget and optimize IT resources
  • Health and Safety:
    • Work closely with our corporate health and safety department and managers in the CEB region to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
    • Foster a company culture that prioritizes employee safety
    • Maintain compliance with health and safety legal requirements
    • Conduct periodic inspections of facilities and audits of working conditions
    • Provide initial and periodic health and safety training to employees
    • Issue personal protective equipment and ensure its proper use
    • Draft and update health and safety instructions, orders, and regulations
    • Implement corporate health and safety requirements, procedures, and processes
    • Report incidents and events to the CEB business unit and head office

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar position in a company in the water/wastewater/manufacturing/logistics industry
  • University degree in health and safety
  • Excellent knowledge of current labor, health, and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English at least at B2 level
  • Initiative in implementing improvements that raise the standard of health, safety, and ergonomics at work
  • Responsibility, self-reliance, result-orientation, and good work organization
  • Calm and clear thinking when working under pressure
  • Ability to persuade teams by providing advice and guidance
  • Openness and ability to deal with rapid changes in business needs, processes, and technology
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Ability to work with staff at different levels of the organization
  • National and international travel is required in this role
  • Knowledge of the French language
