Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our Platform Engineering & Technology Support (PETS) - Web team. As a critical member of this team, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our Shop platform.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security, authentication, reliability, and stability of our customer-facing services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key projects forward, including:

  • Shop-Wall (AWS WAF + CDN): A security bridge between customers and internal services
  • ALB/MRT: Authentication offloading for customers
  • Shop-Router: Proxy server for Shop
Key Responsibilities

As a seasoned DevOps professional, you'll leverage your expertise in cloud computing, containerization, and automation to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and services
  • Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and processes to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring
  • Foster a culture of best practices and continuous improvement within the team
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong technical knowledge in DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization
  • Solid understanding of computer networks, HTTP protocol, and programming languages like JavaScript, Python
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and agile methodologies
Nice to Have

While not essential, having experience with:

  • Multicloud environments
  • Container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Serverless computing and event-driven architectures
