Financial Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to oversee the financial operations at indaHash. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, as well as contributing to the development of the company’s overall accounting strategy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Close collaboration with the CFO and management to establish the finance department’s framework.
  • Decisiveness in implementing timeline changes within the accounting department.
  • Responsibility for financial accounting across multiple legal entities in various countries.
  • Cooperation with local and international accounting offices.
  • Accountability for tax and statutory reporting, including VAT, CIT, and withholding tax.
  • Responsibility for accounting policies, chart of accounts, and procedures on a local and group level.
  • Preparation of periodic financial statements, analyses, and reports, including consolidation of financial statements at the group level.
  • Leadership of statutory audits and tax controls on a local and group level.
  • Providing accurate financial information for reporting, forecasting, and controlling purposes.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and resolving accounting issues that impact the business.
  • Continuously improving and optimizing accounting and tax processes.
  • Participation in accounting-related projects and initiatives.
  • Management of the accounting team.

Requirements:

  • Polish language proficiency at the C1 level is mandatory.
  • At least five years of experience in accounting, preferably two years in a Chief Accountant role, preferably in the marketing or advertising industry.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Excellent management and organizational skills for building and controlling external accounting offices.
  • Good understanding of accounting consolidation of financial statements.
  • English language proficiency at the C1 level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and robust capabilities in MS Excel.
  • Proactive approach, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, efficiency, innovation.
  • Experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations is welcome.
  • ACCA or other financial/accounting certification is an asset.
