Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including IFRS Group reporting, statutory financial statements, and direct tax reporting, in collaboration with external advisors.
  2. Review, analyze, and make decisions regarding the quality of the balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, and direct tax reporting.
  3. Approve and create recurring and non-recurring journal entries, including inventory, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, impairments, write-offs, and taxes.
  4. Ensure compliance with corporate requirements, local GAAP accounting, and direct tax requirements, staying up-to-date with current and new legislation and implementing regulatory changes.
  5. Effectively identify and resolve problems during month-end closings to meet deadlines.
  6. Participate in internal and external audits, working with auditors on annual audits and tax returns.
  7. Drive standardization and harmonization initiatives.
  8. Support other team members with day-to-day processes and collaborate with the manager on current priorities.
  9. Contribute to General Ledger process improvement initiatives, including Robotic Process Automation.

Background & Skills

  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate full general ledger accounting or management accounting, with financial reports preparation and direct tax reporting.
  2. +2 years of experience with management/statutory financial reports preparation at a similar position in a multinational company or Shared Service Centre multifunctional role.
  3. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and good knowledge of taxation.
  5. Practical experience with SAP/other integrated software and advanced Excel skills.
  6. Previous experience in SSC/BPO.
  7. Consolidation reporting systems (HFM/Oracle) and good understanding of BI tools.
  8. Excellent written and spoken business-level English.
  9. Analytical skills, solution-oriented.
  10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, and customer focus.
  11. Eye for accuracy, flexible attitude, self-motivated, well-organized, and independent.
