About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Lean-Agile Portfolio Management Senior Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Lean-Agile Center of Excellence, you will play a critical role in shaping and defining the Lean-Agile Portfolio Management capability of our IT organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in workshops to align, review, and maintain portfolio management processes, roles, events, artifacts, and policies.
  • Review the current portfolio management capability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and define improvements, particularly for better integration of value definition and measurement, and consideration of value within economic frameworks for decision-making.
  • Advise and coach portfolio stakeholders and their managers on adopting required practices, present changes, and report newly adopted concepts or definitions to management stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, with a focus on process improvement or project management being advantageous.
  • Knowledge of and work experience with lean portfolio management aligned to the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Work experience working with agile teams that apply methodologies or practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration.
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Open mindset, passion to work with people, and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluent English language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
