**Job Purpose:** As a Customs Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws, while supporting the growth of our business.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Purpose of the job customs operations, compliance according legal and tax law, key contact for customs and tax offices and customs broker related to customs operations in Poland, works cross category and all business units, FPOC for the business for customs and trade compliance.
- Check and control customs declarations and tax assessments from a legal and compliance perspective (audit proof).
- Supporting customs audits.
- Controlling & reporting for duties & taxes.
- Setting up customs instructions for customs brokers, SU/DC and logistics.
- Coordination, supervision, and support of customs related projects as indirect customs representative of UEBV.
- Deliver customs trainings and customs advice to the business.
- Assure European customs reporting.
- Manage ways of working with the 3PL, different Unilever departments and other non-Unilever parties involved in new product launches (export process description, flow of information, split of responsibilities, golden rules etc.).
**Requirements:** To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent knowledge and expertise in customs procedures (import, export, declaration, bonded warehouses etc.), local and international customs & tax law, MS Office (Excel, Power Point), and experience working on customs affairs, indirect tax, export and import operations in an international organization.
