IT Demand Management - Subject Matter Expert

Fresenius Digital Technology Polska sp. z o.o. is an integral part of the Fresenius Group, responsible for IT operations within the healthcare group and its business segments. We are seeking a Demand Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Cross Functional Services Department.

The key aspects of this role include:

  • Proven experience in demand management, project management, or related fields, preferably within a global infrastructure or technology environment
  • In-depth understanding of demand forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning processes
  • Proficiency with demand management tools and systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and report on KPIs effectively
  • Familiarity with resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting software (e.g., MS Project, SAP, Smartsheet)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Experience working with senior leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions
  • Fluent English (at least C1 level)

Your responsibilities will include:

Demand Intake and Reporting:

  • Manage the intake process for incoming demands
  • Provide regular reports on the status

KPI Management:

  • Monitor the demand processing cycle, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and propose solutions

Process Optimization:

  • Identify areas for improvement within the demand intake and processing workflows
  • Collaborate with other teams to streamline communication and handoffs between departments involved in the demand process

Demand Forecasting and Budgeting:

  • Capture demands early to support better forecasting and budgeting
  • Work closely with the finance and resource planning teams

Stakeholder Training and Engagement:

  • Train stakeholders on the demand management process
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Liaise between demand owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely processing of demands
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders in managing the demand process
  • Regularly review and assess the demand management process
  • Proactively reduce delays, improve data accuracy, and enhance collaboration across teams
