At William Hill, we're seeking a Senior Release Manager to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with our innovative and varied projects focused on online sports, betting, and gaming.

As a Senior Release Manager, you'll be part of our product teams, delivering high-quality services and ensuring business requirements and prioritization are fully understood. You'll proactively manage risks and issues, providing solutions and escalating as required.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with product teams to ensure releases are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Managing the release calendar and ensuring all stakeholders are aware of upcoming releases
  • Conducting retrospectives on failed releases and implementing changes to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Communicating release management processes effectively to all stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement in release management by staying up-to-date with industry best practices and approaches

We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps software delivery practices, including the Delivery and Development Life Cycle and testing methodologies. You'll also need prior experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
