Our team is seeking an exceptional Visual Effects Specialist to join us in creating an immersive experience for players worldwide. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping the visual identity of our games, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of assets.
We're looking for someone who shares our passion for innovative storytelling and technical excellence. If you have a knack for crafting visually stunning effects, optimizing performance without compromising quality, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, we want to hear from you.
- Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with art and development teams to integrate visual assets seamlessly.
- Optimizing visual assets for performance across various devices.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues related to graphics and animations.
- Crafting 2D and 3D animations to enhance the user experience.
- Developing and implementing particle effects using Unity's Particle System.
- Creating and optimizing shaders using Amplify Shader or custom HLSL shaders.
- Assisting in prototyping visual effects to enhance gameplay.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Unity features and best practices.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Visual Effects Specialist in game development.
- Proficiency in optimizing assets for mobile performance (Android and iOS).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with particle systems (Particle System).
- Knowledge of Unity UI and its performance optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Unity's shader systems (Amplify Shader, HLSL).
- Experience with lighting in Unity.
- Understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, squash & stretch).
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling tools (Blender).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with C# scripting for custom tools and workflows.
- Knowledge of asset pipelines and performance profiling.
