Job Description

This role involves ensuring the quality of financial services by executing test cases, preparing test plans, managing defects, and documenting results. You will work closely with developers and product experts, contributing to the success of our client's product releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong knowledge of Oracle SQL
  • Experience in executing tests in Windows-based Java applications with multiple interfaces
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and API testing methodologies
  • Experience with continuous integration tools like Bamboo or Jenkins
  • Proficiency in implementing BDD using Given-When-Then and familiarity with tools like Cucumber/Gherkin
  • A solid understanding of testing principles, ideally certified at the ISTQB Foundation Level
  • Prior experience with manual testing
  • Ability to lead and coordinate QA activities across the delivery team
  • Strong motivation to drive project releases and ensure thorough testing
  • Experience in preparing test plans, test cases, and securing stakeholder sign-off
  • Capacity to perform regression testing whenever code is modified to address defects
  • Experience in leading daily Scrum calls and coordinating all integration testing, go-live, and post-go-live activities
  • Proficiency in analyzing Sprint User Stories to develop test scenarios, prepare test data, and design test cases
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to clarify requirements with the business team
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with Scrum Masters, developers, and product owners to assess project scope, requirements, and risks
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and QTest for defect management and conducting defect triage with stakeholders
