In this challenging opportunity, you will play a pivotal role as a Legal Counsel in our esteemed organization.

  • As a seasoned legal professional, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing various commercial contracts for our news business.
  • You will provide expert day-to-day commercial legal support to our global operations.
  • Your collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams will help identify creative legal solutions for commercial transactions and mitigate risks.
  • You will work closely with our Thomson Reuters legal team on enterprise-wide projects, developing playbooks, fallback positions, and knowledge-sharing tools.
About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in-house or at a law firm, focusing on licensing and commercial agreements. Experience counseling on media and cross-border deals is highly valued.
  • Licensure to practice law and membership in good standing with a Polish Bar Council.
  • The ability to counsel clients across diverse geographies and cultures, working collaboratively as part of a global team.
