Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Team Lead at Allegro sp. z o.o., you will be responsible for leading one of our technology areas, focusing on microservices and infrastructure platforms based on private and public clouds and Kubernetes technologies.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in leading engineering teams, technical skills background with Kubernetes and public cloud platforms, and a continuous improvement approach with a data-driven mindset.

  • Lead one of our technology areas, focusing on microservices and infrastructure platforms based on private and public clouds and Kubernetes technologies.
  • Be responsible for maintenance and development of one of Allegro's domains.
  • Prepare a technology vision for one of Allegro's domains, finalize further strategy architecture, and connect your domain with other Allegro technology areas.
  • Manage technology dependencies between your domain and other areas in the main Allegro platform.
  • Develop technical strategy architecture for your domain and align with other tech managers (around 40 engaged teams).
  • Be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and hiring team members.
  • Introduce best coding practices and support the team in implementing new product features.
  • Act as a contact person, budget owner, and lead for external teams from contractor agencies.
